Halal and alcohol-free beard oil: how to choose?

Rather than believing the words on the label, look at the composition, the texture, and what the oil is actually supposed to do for your beard.
A good beard oil does not need to promise growth, hide its composition, or pile up active ingredients. Its main role is simpler: to nourish, soften, and improve the comfort of the beard and the skin underneath.
If the absence of alcohol is one of your criteria, check the INCI list and the manufacturer's information rather than relying solely on a marketing badge.
Halal and certification: at Char3i, "halal" refers to formulation choices and transparency regarding ingredients—not to a "certified halal" label that we have not obtained. If this criterion is essential for you, read the INCI list and, if necessary, consult a competent person.
4 things to check
A readable oil base
Castor, argan, jojoba, sweet almond, or grapeseed are common vegetable oils in beard care. The important thing is to know what the bottle actually contains.
An adapted texture
An effective oil does not need to leave the beard feeling heavy. Start with a few drops, then increase only if the length requires it.
The fragrance
If the oil is scented, choose a scent that you can wear regularly. The smell is a matter of preference, not proof of effectiveness.
Reasonable promises
An oil can soften, nourish, and reduce the dry or coarse appearance. It does not create new follicles and should not be sold as a medical treatment.
ZAYT — 5 vegetable oils, 30 ml
The composition currently listed on the product page:
The INCI list published for ZAYT does not mention alcohol (ethanol, alcohol denat.). For the fragrance, the manufacturer's detailed information remains the reference if you have a specific criterion. Bottle of 30 ml — price and availability on the ZAYT product page.
8 olfactory worlds
ZAYT is currently available in Bois, Oud Intense, Red Baccarat, Vanille Épicée, Oud Monoï, Aventus Citrus, Musc Blanc, and Jardin Japonais. Availability may vary depending on stock.
If you are hesitating, choose first based on what you wear easily on a daily basis: fresh, woody, musky, gourmand, or oriental.
How to apply ZAYT
Start with a few drops
The quantity depends on the length. It is better to start light and add more if necessary.
Distribute down to the skin
Rub your palms together then apply from the roots to the tips, without forgetting the skin under the beard.
Then comb
A comb helps to distribute the product. If you want more hold, SABR can be applied afterwards.
